Two sorts of competition are planned for the World Championships:
> Track Competitions from August 19 to 22 2007, at the indoor cycling Vélodrome Stadium of Bordeaux-Lac / Stadium & Bordeaux / the track programme
> Road Competitions, from August 24 to 27 2007 at Villenave d’Ornon on the roads of the “ Graves “ vineyards / the road itinerary / the road programme
Direction to Bordeaux Lac Stadium
By car
• A 10 Paris > Bordeaux
• A 62 Toulouse > Bordeaux
• A 63 Biarritz > Bordeaux
• A 89 Clermont Ferrand > Bordeaux
On arriving in Bordeaux on the "rocade" (beltway), take Exit 4 Bordeaux nord (north), "parc des expositions".
By public transport
- From the railway station; bus line 9, as far as the “Ravezies” stop ( near St Louis railway station), then take bus line 37, that will take you to the Stadium.
- From Lormont: bus line 38, "Bordeaux Lac" direction
- From Mérignac: start at "Lycée Fernand Daguin", bus line 36, "Place Maran" direction
By bike!
Take the cycling path network from the quays to the Stadium, you will also discover the way alongside the lake and the one leading you as far as Lacanau. Please note that since June 2001, the town council of Bordeaux offers 3000 free bikes at the disposal of the city dwellers.

Direction to Villenave d’Ornon
By car: Villenave d’Ornon is located in the outer southern part of Bordeaux.
On arriving on A 63, take Exit 18 and follow the direction of Villenave d’Ornon
By public transport:
Bus line 20, as far as Villenave d’Ornon Bourg terminal.
Or bus line 2 and 20, as far as Villenave d’Ornon Courrejean terminal.
